"Small Prophets" (Apple TV) has exactly my kind of vibe. After 2 episodes it's my new favorite show. Probably because it was created by Mackenzie Crooke, who also did the great "Detectorists". https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/312693-small-prophets
@jack@social.baty.net agreed. It's quite a good show. We've also been enjoying Carrier on Prime if you're looking for other shows.
@michael@social.michaelharley.net I'm not familiar with Carrier so I'll definitely give it a look, thanks!
@michael@social.michaelharley.net Ha! That might explain why I hadn't heard of it. Carrie it is, then! :)
@jack We are just finishing season 3 of the Detectorists and it’s wonderful. Going to be really sad when we have no more to watch. Sliding into Small Prophets has been great fun, seeing old faces and new characters.
@jack The Detectorists was fabulous. I don't have Apple TV so I'll just sit here and mope.
