Grabbed a new domain.
Configured #LittleFedi again from scratch.
Automatic account migration now in progress.
Now inspecting my new home at 'andyc@yakshaving.social'.
@jack@social.baty.net changed to a proper domain (and thought a clean install would be safer). I changed the install directory and configured systemd. The install takes 5 mins once you conquered it. I had no data in the sandpit I needed.
@andyc@yakshaving.social Makes sense, thanks. Let us know how the migration goes. I've not been brave enough to move followers yet.
@jack@social.baty.net Appreciate and understand your reticence but be assured that the automated migration works perfectly. You can really tell that #LittleFedi has been used (internally) for months under the covers. It is so polished and packed full of features from real-life experience and usage.
@andyc@yakshaving.social Good to know! I may wait for at least one round of upgrades and let things burn in for a few days before I try the migration. But yeah, #littleFedi sure feels like something that's been in use for a while.
@jack @andyc@yakshaving.social Well, I didn't wait. Thanks for the nudge. I'll blame you when things break 😁
